Our client is well established and one of the regions most successful investment companies. They wish to recruit a financial modeling guru to join their research team in Auckland. Reporting to the Head of Research your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Undertaking financial modeling for new acquisition projects
- Undertaking competitor and financial analysis
- Analysing companies and preparing valuation reports
- Preparation of financial data and analysis on Excel
- Ad hoc information downloads
The ideal candidate will have experience as a buy side Analyst or alternatively you may have worked in the corporate finance area for a CA firm or you may have worked in private equity, funds management or sell side research. You will be a positive, motivated and enthusiastic person who is versatile, who can turn your hand to a variety of tasks. You must have a broad understanding of businesses and be able to ascertain what are the value drivers of a business. We seek a team player who is passionate about the financial markets with a strong work ethic who enjoys reviewing financial data, research and analysis.
